About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our Bangalore studio. You will design luxury leather goods — bags, wallets, and small leather accessories — that reflect the Knights & Walker identity. This role starts as a 3-month paid internship with a clear pathway to a full-time position based on performance. You will work closely with our product team and collaborate with manufacturing partners, with occasional travel to vendor locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design bags, wallets, and small leather goods aligned with the Knights & Walker brand aesthetic.
• Create technical flat sketches, construction specs, and design documentation.
• Select appropriate leather types, hardware, linings, and trims to meet quality standards.
• Evaluate material samples and prototypes for quality, durability, and finish.
• Liaise with manufacturing partners and vendors to communicate design intent and specifications.
• Travel to meet manufacturers when required to review prototypes and production quality.
• Conduct trend research relevant to the global luxury leather goods market.
• Maintain organised design files, specification sheets, and sample archives.
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Accessory Design, Fashion Design, or Leather Design — NIFT graduates strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (must-have).
• Knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D, CLO 3D, or AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Hand sketching or Procreate skills for ideation are a bonus.
• Understanding of leather types, stitching techniques, hardware, and product construction.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility for luxury goods and premium materials.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing locations when required.
• No prior work experience required — fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
What We Offer
• ₹20,000/month stipend during the 3-month internship.
• Clear pathway to a full-time Product Designer role based on performance.
• Hands-on exposure to the full product design lifecycle within a luxury brand.
