Product Design Engineer (Manufacturing)

A globally recognized manufacturer of high-performance electrical components, Headquartered in Italy is looking for a proactive and innovative R&D and Product Design Engineer to assist in the development and implementation of next-generation electronic systems and solutions. It specializes in alternators, DC motors, actuators, electronic speed controllers, and integrated drive systems for diverse industrial applications.

LOCATION - Pune (full-time)

EXP - 2 -3 years

EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics – Mandatory

This role goes beyond technical support, focusing on concept-to-launch ownership of product design, continuous process improvements, and close engagement with customers to translate feedback into innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive innovation in alternators, DC motors, controllers, and electronic subsystems.

· Research emerging technologies and evaluate their potential integration into the company's product portfolio.

· Collaborate with global R&D teams to adapt and localize solutions for the Indian market.

· Design and validate power electronic components, embedded systems, and control solutions.

· Lead prototyping, testing, and certification of new designs.

· Develop detailed design documentation, schematics, and technical specifications.

· Manage the full lifecycle from concept, prototyping, testing, validation, and customer acceptance to commercialization.

· Implement process improvements and establish best practices for design validation, testing, and deployment.

· Travel pan-India (and occasionally international) to meet OEM customers, understand technical requirements, and present solutions.

· Translate customer feedback into actionable R&D inputs for product enhancements.
