Product Design Engineer (Manufacturing)

A globally recognized manufacturer of high-performance electrical components, Headquartered in Italy is looking for a proactive and innovative R&D and Product Design Engineer to assist in the development and implementation of next-generation electronic systems and solutions. It specializes in alternators, DC motors, actuators, electronic speed controllers, and integrated drive systems for diverse industrial applications.

LOCATION - Pune (full-time)

EXP - 2 -3 years

EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics Mandatory

This role goes beyond technical support, focusing on concept-to-launch ownership of product design, continuous process improvements, and close engagement with customers to translate feedback into innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Drive innovation in alternators, DC motors, controllers, and electronic subsystems.

Research emerging technologies and evaluate their potential integration into the company's product portfolio.

Collaborate with global R&D teams to adapt and localize solutions for the Indian market.

Design and validate power electronic components, embedded systems, and control solutions.

Lead prototyping, testing, and certification of new designs.

Develop detailed design documentation, schematics, and technical specifications.

Manage the full lifecycle from concept, prototyping, testing, validation, and customer acceptance to commercialization.

Implement process improvements and establish best practices for design validation, testing, and deployment.

Travel pan-India (and occasionally international) to meet OEM customers, understand technical requirements, and present solutions.

Translate customer feedback into actionable R&D inputs for product enhancements.

Support pilot projects, field trials, and customer demos.roduct enhancements.
