Product Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine complex mechanical systems and components using Fusion 360 and AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Generate URDF models for robotic simulation and ROS integration
• Conduct simulations (stress, thermal, structural analysis) and validate designs for performance and durability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—manufacturing, electronics, robotics—to ensure design feasibility at scale
• Participate in design reviews, vendor coordination, and prototype development/testing.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in mechanical/CAD design roles, ideally in robotics, machinery, or heavy equipment.
• Advanced proficiency with Fusion 360 and AutoCAD. Experience with SolidWorks or Siemens NX is a plus.
• Proven experience generating URDF for ROS-compatible robotic models.
• Strong grasp of mechanical linkages, actuators, GD&T, structural and thermal analysis
