Mechanical Engineer's with hands-on experience in end-to-end product design and development, specifically in plastic components and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plastic components and assemblies from concept to production
- Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications using CAD tools
- Work closely with tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Develop and optimize designs for injection molding and other plastic processes
- Conduct feasibility studies, design validation, and testing
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and cost targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in product design & development (plastics preferred)
- Strong knowledge of plastic materials and injection molding processes
- Proficiency in CAD software's (Creo, UG NX, Ansys (basics) etc.)
- Experience with DFMEA, DFM, DFA & Tolerance Analysis.
- Good analytical and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in Mold design
- Exposure to simulation/analysis tools
