Product Delivery & Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and line-manage the whole Surat and UK IT team, including developers, team leads, and QA, and make sure the department runs efficiently.
• Own delivery across the teams: plan workloads, set clear priorities, track progress, and clear blockers so work ships on time and to a high standard.
• Put good ways of working in place and keep improving them, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and release processes.
• Work closely with UK leadership and clients to turn requirements into clear plans, and keep them updated on progress, timelines, and risks.
• Keep quality high by making sure testing and QA are built into every stage, from planning through to release sign-off.
• Watch the numbers that matter, such as delivery timelines, team velocity, defect rates, and system uptime, and use them to keep improving.
• Plan capacity and resourcing, spot skill gaps early, and work with HR on hiring and onboarding.
• Coach and develop your team leads and engineers through regular one-to-ones, clear goals, and honest performance reviews.
• Guide technical decisions alongside the team leads, keeping an eye on code quality, architecture, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Handle day-to-day team matters like leave, shift cover, and keeping people motivated and engaged.
• Report to senior management on how the department is performing, along with any risks and what you are doing about them.
