Job Description

Position Overview: The Product Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the processing of product data into numerous company systems leading to new product web launches. Additional prominent tasks include the utilization of various systems and tools, to ensure the integrity of the data content during the launch of new products process. The Product Coordinator responsibilities are focused on supporting the launching of new products into our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workflow & Process Execution

  • Learn and execute New Product Execution (NPE) workflows
  • Use internal tools and systems to support product launch activities

2. Technical Data Management

  • Interpret supplier specifications
  • Accurately capture, validate, and maintain technical product data

3. Product Knowledge & Support

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Fiber Optic product lines
  • Support cross-functional teams with technical insights and training

4. Technical Documentation

  • Develop technical collateral in collaboration with engineering and marketing teams

5. Systems & Database Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data in internal systems and databases

6. Quality & Accuracy

  • Proofread product data, technical documentation, and website content
  • Ensure consistency and high standards of accuracy

7. Digital Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain digital assets across designated platforms

8. Time & Priority Management

  • Prioritize tasks to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual product launch goals

9. Process Compliance

  • Follow documented processes, workflows, and tools to track progress

10. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global teams to prepare products for successful launch

11. Agility & Adaptability

  • Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

12. Communication & Issue Resolution

  • Participate in meetings, provide updates, and resolve blockers

  • Train and mentor team members on tools and processes
  • Take on leadership or supervisory responsibilities

  • Develop advanced expertise in technical data and product systems

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (2-year/4-year degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience working with technical product data, preferably in Fiber Optics
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web-based tools and systems
  • Adobe InDesign knowledge is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in eCommerce, content creation, or product data uploads
  • Experience managing large datasets in complex systems
