PRODUCT ASSOCIATE - UX RESEARCH & PRODUCT FORMULATION

POSITION OVERVIEW

Job Title: Product Associate

Experience: Entry-level (no prior experience required)

Travel: Occasional (Warehouse visit, 1-2 days)

ROLE SUMMARY

We seek a Product associate with strong analytical skills and product understanding to support product discovery, design, and development. You will conduct user research, engage stakeholders, and translate business requirements into actionable PRDs with user personas and user stories. The ideal candidate has excellent comprehension skills, curiosity about user behavior, and ability to collaborate with engineering teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. UX RESEARCH & USER DISCOVERY

Conduct stakeholder interviews

Create detailed user personas based on behavioral patterns, motivations, and pain points

Map user journeys and identify friction points in current/new workflows

Document current state workflows and design future state optimizations

Analyze user behavior data and conduct competitive research

2. PRODUCT FORMULATION & STRATEGY

Create comprehensive PRDs with detailed user stories and acceptance criteria

Define product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives

Develop product roadmaps with clear milestones and success metrics

Prioritize features based on user value, business impact, and technical feasibility

Create wireframes and user flow diagrams to communicate concepts

3. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

Work with engineering team to translate user needs into technical specifications

Collaborate with business stakeholders to align product strategy with goals

Present product recommendations to leadership and manage expectations

Create intuitive user interfaces

DOMAIN EXPERTISE AREAS

Warehouse & Logistics: Document digitization workflows, warehouse technology, return processing

Business Process Optimization: Workflow design, timeline planning, authorization & security

Product Strategy: Internal vs. external products, future scope planning, portal architecture

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Natural curiosity about user behaviour and business processes

Good comprehension skills and attention to detail

Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Basic understanding of enterprise software or SaaS products

Experience with mobile applications or web development (academic projects welcome)

Basic knowledge of design thinking methodologies

Interest in user experience design and research
