Job Description

Product Associate — Art of Active Travel (AAT)

Anywhere in India | Full-time

About AAT

Art of Active Travel curates immersive cycling, hiking and active-culture trips — mornings spent walking, riding or in a craft workshop; afternoons exploring old towns and markets; evenings in a family kitchen. It's built for travelers who want to participate in a destination, not just observe it.

Role Summary

You'll own the pipeline that turns supplier relationships into bookable, live tours — sourcing and vetting suppliers, building itineraries with them, pricing the product, and launching it on the website. This is a hands-on, ownership-heavy role for someone who wants to see their work go from a spreadsheet to a real trip someone books.

What You'll Do
  • Identify and reach out to suppliers, local DMCs, guides and accommodation partners in target destinations (Europe, Asia, and more)
  • Negotiate rates, availability and terms; build and maintain supplier relationships for the long term
  • Take raw itineraries from suppliers and shape them into AAT-ready products — refining the day-by-day arc, pacing, and active culture moments (a cooking session, a craft workshop, a village walk) that fit the brand
  • Cost and price tours to hit margin targets while staying competitive
  • Own the launch: get finalized itineraries, pricing and content onto the website, working with the marketing/design team on copy and images
  • Track supplier performance and traveler feedback to iterate on existing tours
  • Keep a live pipeline of tours in development and report status regularly
What You Should Bring
  • 1–4 years in travel/tourism product, operations, or a related supplier-facing role (tour operator, DMC, OTA, or hospitality background all work)
  • Comfortable negotiating with and managing suppliers across cultures and time zones
  • Strong attention to detail — pricing errors and itinerary gaps cost trust and money
  • Can read a rough itinerary and see how to make it better, not just format it
  • Organized enough to run multiple tours through the pipeline at once without dropping details
  • Genuine interest in cycling/hiking/active travel is a strong plus — you'll be making judgment calls on what feels like AAT
Nice to Have
  • Experience with travel product specifically
  • Familiarity with website CMS tools for publishing tour pages
  • Basic comfort with spreadsheets for costing/margin work
