Role Overview
We are hiring a Product Application Chef who is based out of Chennai to support our customers and sales teams across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala & Telangana. This is a field role focused on customer engagement, product demonstrations, and technical application support to drive product adoption across the South Zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in the field alongside the sales team in Chennai to support client visits and conversions.
- Conduct live product demonstrations, training, and trials at customer sites.
- Provide on-site technical support and resolve application-related challenges.
- Develop and adapt recipes suited to local markets and customer needs.
- Share feedback and insights from customers with R&D and Marketing teams.
- Represent the company at workshops, exhibitions, and trade events across South India.
- Travel extensively across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala & Telangana while being based out of Chennai.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or Baking & Patisserie.
- 2–6 years of experience as an Application Chef, Bakery Chef, or in Culinary/Bakery R&D.
- Strong product knowledge in bakery, confectionery, desserts, or food service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and work with sales.
- Proficiency in English; regional languages (Tamil/Telugu/Kannada/Malayalam) are an advantage.
- Must already be based out of Chennai and willing to travel frequently within South India.
