Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Analyst to support product strategy, data-driven decision-making, and performance optimization across our mutual fund investment platform. The ideal candidate will bridge product, business, and technology teams to deliver insights that enhance user experience, increase conversions, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Analytics & Insights
- Analyze user behavior across web and mobile platforms (onboarding, KYC, transactions, SIP flows, redemptions).
- Build dashboards and track KPIs such as AUM growth, conversion rates, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, and funnel drop-offs.
- Conduct cohort analysis, segmentation, and performance tracking for distributors and investors.
- Generate actionable insights to improve product adoption and customer engagement.
Experimentation & Optimization
- Design and analyze A/B tests for new features, pricing models, and UX changes.
- Evaluate feature performance and measure impact on business metrics.
- Identify friction points in customer journeys and recommend improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Compliance teams.
- Translate business requirements into measurable KPIs and analytical frameworks.
- Support product roadmaps with data-backed prioritization.
Financial & Business Analysis
- Track mutual fund transaction trends, SIP registrations, redemption behavior, and revenue performance.
- Analyze distributor productivity and commission structures.
- Assist in forecasting and scenario modeling for new product launches.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL (mandatory).
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Familiarity with Python/R for data analysis (preferred).
- Understanding of product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4).
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Mutual Funds, SIPs, NAV, AUM, and investment flows.
- Knowledge of fintech ecosystem, digital onboarding, and KYC processes.
- Awareness of regulatory environment in financial services (SEBI/AMFI knowledge preferred).
