About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-orientedProduct Analystto support competitor research, product feature scoping, and collaboration with UI/UX teams. The ideal candidate should have strong product sense, excellent research capabilities, and the ability to translate findings into structured product requirements.
We especially welcome candidates with experience working onUS-based products, particularly in thepayments or fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities
Competitor & Market Analysis
- Conduct deep analysis of competitors in the payments, fintech, or SaaS spaceespecially those operating in the US market.
- Identify feature gaps, strengths, pricing differences, and workflow improvements.
- Maintain a structured competitor database with regular updates.
- Track industry trends, compliance changes, and customer needs to guide product direction.
Product Scoping & Requirements
- Work with the Product Manager to define scope, workflows, and success metrics for new features.
- Break down larger initiatives into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
- Convert research insights into actionable product decisions.
- Prioritize features based on impact and alignment with product strategy.
Collaboration with UI/UX Teams
- Partner closely with UI/UX designers to translate requirements into intuitive user flows and wireframes.
- Provide clear context and research-backed inputs to improve design decisions.
- Participate in usability reviews and help refine designs for better user experience.
Product Documentation & Communication
- Prepare PRDs, feature briefs, workflow diagrams, and customer-facing documentation when needed.
- Maintain feature trackers, research logs, and scoping documents.
- Communicate findings and product requirements to engineering, QA, and leadership teams effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role.
- Strong experience in competitor analysis, research, and feature scoping.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles, user journey mapping, and product usability.
- Excellent documentation skillsability to write PRDs, user stories, and functional specs.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, Notion, Sheets/Excel, etc.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
Preferred Qualifications (Highly Advantageous)
- Experience working onUS market products, especially inpayments, fintech, or merchant services.
- Understanding of EMV, card payments, merchant onboarding, recurring payments, settlement, or transaction flows.
- Exposure to API-driven platforms and basic technical understanding of integrations.
- Knowledge of analytics tools (Mixpanel, Google Analytics, SQL basics, etc.).
