Job purpose:

As Individual contributor, He/She The Tactical Buyer Team is responsible for Order Management activities within a region. The role will be required to provide prioritize activities on Order management, Stakeholder management and Supplier follow ups on a regular frequency. Additionally, the Tactical Buyer will need to establish SLAs or KPIs for the tactical procurement team which meet or exceed the expectations of the region/service and support GBUs/BLs.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Establish KPIs and SLAs for Tactical Buyers
  • Manage the ERP and Purchasing tools for analytics and reporting.
  • Maintain Dashboards and report the Procurement performance through Dashboards.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for streamline processing of Orders
  • Liaise with Suppliers for streamline processing of Orders and Delivery monitoring and further dispute management.
  • Manage and resolve internal and external conflict as an escalation path
  • Provide general supervisory and instructional direction to the order management activities
  • Interface with IS/IT on issues or required modifications to local ERPs
  • Capture and cascade knowledge of global/regional commodity strategies to their respective teams
  • Ensure accuracy of order placement and cancelation
  • Interface with other shared services (Accounting) to capture required changes or modifications to purchase order documents
  • Ensure proper execution to process and procedure as per Chorus 2
  • Maintain regulatory compliance to Thales, regional, federal, or local laws & requirements
  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming needs

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of various Tools and ERPs
  • Good Analytical Skills and Reporting methodologies
  • Proficient with Stakeholder Management.
  • Avid learner and inclined to Grow.
