Role Description The Procurement Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including processing purchase orders, sourcing materials and services, and ensuring timely delivery to support operational needs. The Procurement Specialist will evaluate and onboard suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory requirements, analyzing procurement data for cost optimization, ensuring compliance with company policies, and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as finance, operations, and project teams. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and a focus on achieving quality and cost-efficiency in all purchasing decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement experience with skills in Procurement and Purchase Orders management.
• Ability to perform Supplier Evaluation and maintain vendor performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for cost analysis, spend reporting, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of procurement systems or ERP tools and basic understanding of supply chain principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field; professional procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related procurement is highly desirable.
• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
