Procurement Specialist: Commodity Management &Sourcing

Primary Function

• Manage supplier and their performance to ensure uninterrupted supply and quality
• Create local/regional/global savings opportunities
• Support the delivery of working capital targets and creditor targets for the site
• Ensure control and proper responsibility for expenditure of company funds
  
  

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business procurement strategies for assigned products, consistent with global or local procurement plans
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers for raw materials within the value of spend
• Establish project management discipline for identifying and tracking tasks, resources, milestones and measures for projects
• Communicate with key stakeholders on projects to ensure mutual understanding of objectives and priorities
• Good understanding of procurement processes, procedure, policy and systems
• Knowledge in reporting and analyze Spend and Costing report
• Stakeholder management (Internal & External)
• Aside of supporting Singapore, this role will have the opportunity to support global entity (Such as United State, Switzerland and etc)

• Ensure new products, processes, equipment or chemicals are approved by EHS before
  
  

implementation.

• Provide technical support for identifying and mitigating risks, interpreting regulatory
  
  

requirements, and implementing Carrier requirements.

• Identify key EHS issues during planning and design of projects which require special
  
  

precaution such as ventilation, wastewater.

• Ensure hazard identified in the risk assessment processes are mitigated per the action
  
  

plan.

• Conserve natural resources in design and manufacture of products.
