Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you will provide sourcing support to all IBM internal and external clients, covering all sourcing and delivery needs. This role requires a focus on cost-effective and high-quality deliveries, as well as maintaining a consistent approach across the team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Execute Sourcing Strategies: Deliver sourcing support to clients, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries while maintaining a consistent approach across the team.
- Build Supplier Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality deliveries and maintain a deep understanding of the commodity and suppliers involved.
- Improve Sourcing Experience: Continuously improve the sourcing experience by applying agile techniques to enable quicker turnaround times for clients.
- Maintain Process Guidelines: Adhere to tightly managed processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in sourcing and delivery.
- Support Client Needs: Provide support to all IBM internal and external clients, covering all sourcing and delivery needs.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Exposure to Sourcing Processes: Experience working with sourcing processes and guidelines to deliver cost-effective and high-quality deliveries.
- Basic Understanding of Supplier Management: Exposure to developing and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Familiarity with Agile Techniques: Experience working with agile techniques to improve the sourcing experience and enable quicker turnaround times for clients.
- Commodity Knowledge: Exposure to commodities and suppliers involved in sourcing and delivery.
- Client Support Experience: Experience providing support to clients, covering all sourcing and delivery needs.

- Deep Commodity Knowledge: Exposure to commodities and suppliers involved in sourcing and delivery, including understanding of market trends and supplier capabilities.
