Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition through to purchase order and delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in procurement or purchasing management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of market research and supplier evaluation techniques.
