Role Summary:

The Procurement Manager Raw Materials for Home Interiors will be responsible for planning, sourcing, and managing the procurement of materials required for home interior projects. The role involves developing effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely availability of materials, and optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Production, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials and products used in home interior projects, including wood, boards, laminates, hardware, fabrics, lighting, and fittings.
  2. Lead vendor identification, evaluation, and selection processes, ensuring an optimal balance between quality, cost, delivery timelines, and compliance with project specifications.
  3. Ensure the timely procurement and availability of raw materials in line with production schedules and approved project requirements.
  4. Plan and monitor procurement timelines to ensure alignment with overall project schedules and delivery commitments.
  5. Manage vendor relationships including negotiations, contract management, supplier performance evaluation, and continuous engagement.
  6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Production, Design, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to meet project deadlines and operational objectives.
  7. Manage end-to-end procurement operations including RFQs, purchase order processing, supplier follow-ups, delivery coordination, invoice validation, and payment coordination as part of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
  8. Support inventory planning and demand forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid project delays.
  9. Monitor supplier performance through periodic reviews, quality audits, and resolution of supply or quality-related issues.
  10. Maintain accurate procurement records, MIS reports, documentation, and coordination with inventory management systems.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 610 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the home interiors, furniture manufacturing, real estate, or interior fit-out industry.
  • Experience in managing procurement of interior materials such as boards, laminates, hardware, fittings, fabrics, and lighting products will be preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar or related industry is essential.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) module is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across cities as required for vendor management and sourcing activities.
