Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Manager located in Delhi, OH. The Procurement Manager will oversee sourcing and purchasing activities, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement tasks to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services. They will also lead vendor relationship management, analyze procurement data, maintain contracts, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. The role demands strategic decision-making to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs while meeting organizational goals.

• Strategic Sourcing
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cement, aggregates, machinery, and consulting services to ensure best value and quality.
• Vendor Management
• Build strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve disputes.
• Contract Negotiation
• Draft, review, and finalize contracts ensuring favorable terms and compliance with industry standards.
• Project Procurement
• Manage procurement for cement plant projects (CAPEX/OPEX), including spares, equipment, and consulting services.
• Budget Oversight
• Develop and monitor procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial efficiency.
• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and environmental standards; mitigate risks in supply chain operations.
• Market Analysis
• Conduct research on cement industry trends, pricing, and innovations to guide purchasing decisions.
• Cross-Department Collaboration
• Work with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with organizational goals.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management; PGD in Materials Management preferred.
• Experience: 8–15 years in procurement, ideally in cement, construction, or heavy engineering industries.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Expertise in SAP/ERP systems (SAP-HANA, SAP-Ariba)
• Knowledge of cement plant machinery, spares, and consulting services
• Ability to manage large-scale procurement projects
