Procurement Manager (FMCG)

Job Title: Procurement Executive / Procurement Manager (FMCG)

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Professional from the FMCG industry who can manage sourcing, vendor development, negotiations, purchase planning, and inventory coordination. The candidate should have a strong understanding of raw materials, packaging materials, supplier management, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other operational requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

• Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement.

• Coordinate with production, warehouse, quality, and finance teams for procurement planning.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted availability of materials.

• Track supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

• Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.

• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.

• 4-8 years of procurement experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Consumer Goods, Personal Care, or related industries.

• Strong experience in vendor management and supplier negotiations.

• Knowledge of procurement planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling packaging materials, raw materials, ingredients, or contract manufacturing procurement.

• Experience in cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives.

• MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
