Job Summary
The Procurement Manager will lead and oversee the organization's procurement operations, ensuring strategic sourcing for the Marketing Domain, cost optimization, compliance, and process excellence across categories. This role is responsible for managing a team of procurement specialists, driving process improvements, ensuring audit readiness, and enabling automation initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, to deliver efficient and value-driven procurement outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Strategy & Operations Management
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement operations across categories, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Define and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and budgetary goals.
- Oversee vendor selection, negotiations, contract finalization, and procurement lifecycle management.
- Ensure timely execution of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and system processes (e.g., vendor creation, e-bidding platforms).
- Drive standardization of procurement practices and commercial frameworks across the organization.
- SRM /SAP Knowledge is an added advantage
2. Marketing Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Lead procurement for Marketing and Digital Marketing categories, including Media Buying, Campaigns, Creative & Production Agencies, PR, Influencers, and Events.
- Support campaign planning through strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure cost optimization and ROI-driven procurement for marketing spends.
- Conduct market benchmarking and commercial evaluations for competitive pricing.
3. Process Excellence, Automation & Transformation
- Initiate and drive process enhancement projects to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead automation initiatives (tools, systems, digital workflows) to streamline procurement operations.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize procurement processes for scalability and control.
- Implement best practices and industry benchmarks in sourcing and procurement.
4. Compliance, Governance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive audit preparedness (internal/external), including documentation, ISO compliance, and process adherence.
- Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Act as a custodian of procurement governance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
5. Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners.
- Oversee supplier evaluation frameworks to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Resolve escalations and drive continuous improvement in vendor performance.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Business Heads) to align procurement with business needs.
6. Marketing Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Lead procurement for Marketing and Digital Marketing categories, including Media Buying, Campaigns, Creative & Production Agencies, PR, Influencers, and Events.
- Support campaign planning through strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure cost optimization and ROI-driven procurement for marketing spends.

7. Financial Management & Reporting
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Track and report procurement KPIs, including savings, cost avoidance, and supplier performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive spend analytics and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience
- 812 years of experience in procurement/sourcing, with at least 35 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Proven experience in handling Marketing, Procurement, and strategic sourcing.
- Experience in managing audits, compliance frameworks, and process transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
