Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Support procurement of raw materials and packaging items in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability
- Negotiate prices and coordinate purchase terms
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth delivery and storage
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and industry regulations
- Identify opportunities to optimise costs and improve procurement processes
