Job Description

  • Lead the complete Opex procurement function managing a spend of approx. 1000 crore across diverse categories (excluding legal).
  • Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned with operational, financial, and customer experience goals.
  • Drive vendor selection, negotiations, commercial structuring, contracting, and long-term cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with operations, hospitality, F&B, projects, and finance teams to forecast requirements and ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Implement procurement governance, compliance, and process excellence across all categories.
  • Build and manage vendor performance frameworks, SLAs, risk controls, and quality benchmarks.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and technology for spend visibility, contracting efficiency, and cost control.
  • Lead, mentor, and strengthen the procurement team to enhance capability and functional maturity.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Head (Opex) should have:

  • 15+ years of experience in end-to-end Opex procurement with high-value budgets experience handling 500-1500 crore+ spend preferred.
  • Industry Fit: QSR, aviation, hospitality, cinema/entertainment, retail, or other multi-location customer-service businesses.
  • Category Experience: Must have exposure to almost all Opex categories (e.g., facilities, manpower, consumables, AMC, security, technology services, utilities, maintenance, F&B supply chain, seating/furniture, and inventory-linked items).
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, vendor governance, supply chain planning, analytics, and contract management.
  • Education: Graduate with preference for MBA / Supply Chain / Operations / Commerce background.
