As the internal support organization for DNV and DNV owned companies, we deliver shared services within Human Resources, Finance, IT and Real Estate & Procurement to DNV globally. GSS is responsible for many of the tools, processes and daily routines that create the backbone of DNV.
About The Role
In your role you will:
- Review & Process free text purchase requests from across the organization.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories aligned with business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives whilst reporting them.
- Oversee the Procurement Dashboard in Basware Cloud P2P to help manage requests.
- Ensure compliance with agreed procurement processes and procedures.
- Ensure purchases are aligned to any pre-determined category management guidance.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external providers.
- Identify purchase requests that warrant further sourcing activity.
- Support activity in relation to negotiation of contracts.
- Work closely with other departments to support the onboarding of new suppliers and maintenance of existing supplier records.
- As required, maintain up to date records within our contract management database.
- Provide general procurement support to the Global Centre Manager including reports and analysis on procurement activity.
- Creating relevant knowledge database.
- Support the maintenance and implementation of purchasing catalogue solutions for end user self service.
- Identify any potential improvements opportunities for solutions deployed.
- Handle procurement related queries in an efficient manner that may involve close co-operation with Finance.
- Ensure delivery of services in accordance with established KPI's & SLA.
- Monitor MyGSS (Ticketing tool) Dashboards and ensure smooth flow and quick responses.
- Support Global Category leads and global projects.

About You
- At least 5-7 years experience in a similar role providing transactional type procurement support.
- Ideally working towards formal qualifications in procurement.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the purchase to pay process.
- Exposure to terms and conditions of contracts and their negotiation.
- Excellent written & communication skills (English).
- Positive attitude, customer centric mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to meet organizational goals.
- Attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload and manage conflicting deadlines.
- Cultural awareness and experience of working in a dynamic international environment with multiple stakeholders in different countries is an advantage.
- Structured and well organized and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in use of Basware Cloud P2P software is a distinct advantage (similar software like SAP, Oracle iProcure also beneficial).
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite required.
