Role Overview
The Vendor Sourcing Executive will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, onboarding, and coordinating with third-party manufacturers, packaging vendors, ingredient suppliers, and contract manufacturing partners.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in cosmetics, skincare, personal care, FMCG, consumer products, packaging, procurement, or sourcing functions who are looking to build expertise in supplier development and product sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Identification & Supplier Development
- Identify and evaluate third-party manufacturers for skincare, cosmetics, personal care, wellness, and FMCG products.
- Source packaging vendors, raw material suppliers, and ingredient manufacturers.
- Build and maintain a strong supplier database across product categories.
- Research new sourcing opportunities and manufacturing partners.
Contract Manufacturing & Private Label Sourcing
- Coordinate with private label manufacturers and contract manufacturing partners.
- Support new product development projects through supplier identification and onboarding.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, production capacities, certifications, and quality standards.
- Assist in finalizing suitable manufacturing partners for new product launches.
Packaging Sourcing & Development
- Source primary and secondary packaging vendors.
- Coordinate development of bottles, jars, tubes, labels, cartons, pouches, and promotional packaging.
- Work with packaging suppliers to optimize quality, pricing, and timelines.
- Support packaging innovation and cost optimization initiatives.
Procurement & Commercial Negotiations
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and vendors.
- Compare pricing, MOQs, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Assist in vendor negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain procurement records and supplier comparisons.
Vendor Coordination & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier communications.
- Track vendor performance, timelines, responsiveness, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely execution of sourcing requirements.
- Build long-term supplier relationships and strategic partnerships.
Product Development Support
- Collaborate with product development, operations, quality, and marketing teams.
- Coordinate sourcing requirements for new product launches.
- Support sample procurement, product trials, and supplier evaluations.
- Ensure sourcing timelines align with product launch schedules.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain supplier documentation and onboarding records.
- Coordinate collection of certifications, declarations, and compliance documents.
- Ensure vendors meet company quality and regulatory requirements.
Market Research & Industry Intelligence
- Track emerging suppliers, ingredients, packaging trends, and innovations.
- Identify new manufacturing technologies and sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor competitor products and sourcing trends within skincare and FMCG industries.

Candidate Profile
- 1-4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain functions.
- Strong vendor research and supplier coordination skills.
- Experience working with manufacturers, packaging suppliers, or consumer product vendors.
- Good negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and procurement documentation.
Important Note
This role is focused on Skincare, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Packaging, FMCG, and Consumer Product sourcing. Candidates with experience in consumer brands, beauty products, packaging, and FMCG procurement will be highly preferred.

Education
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA / PGDM (Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing) preferred but not mandatory.
