Job Title - Procurement Executive

Location - Mumbai (Andheri)

Experience - Minimum 2 to 3 years

Salary - 5 LPA

Industry Preferred - Freight Forwarding | Logistics | International Shipping

What is your role:

The role involves procuring competitive freight rates, maintaining strong relationships with

carriers, and ensuring space availability with the best pricing across air and sea shipments.

It also requires managing pricing databases, staying updated on market changes and trade lane services, and offering the most effective logistics solutions to customers.

Job responsibilities:

1.Procure competitive freight rates directly from major airlines, shipping lines, NVOCCs, and

consolidators.

2.Maintain strong industry relationships to ensure space availability and best possible pricing

across air and sea modes.

3.Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and related documentation.

4.Must have detailed knowledge of shipping lines/airlines operating on specific trade lines, so as

to offer the best solutions to our customers

5.Have up to date market information on new services, any new updates on special charges, any

services which have been withdrawn etc

4.Familiarity with basic budgeting and vendor management

5.Good communication and coordination ability
