Procurement Executive - Domestic

Role Overview As a Procurement Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing domestic procurements to ensure that all production-related materials and components are sourced in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven manner. Reporting to the Procurement Head, you will focus on maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting seamless production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement

Identify and source domestic suppliers for production materials and components.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize procurement efficiency.

Evaluate new suppliers and alternatives to diversify and strengthen the supply chain.

Vendor Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic vendors to ensure reliability and consistency.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery commitments.

Resolve any supplier-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

Inventory Coordination

Collaborate with the production and planning teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.

Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishments to avoid stockouts.

Ensure accurate documentation and records for all procurement transactions.

Cost and Quality Optimization

Support the Procurement Head in identifying opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality.

Ensure procured materials meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Compliance and Process Adherence

Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements for domestic procurement.

Maintain updated procurement records and support audits as needed.

Contribute to the implementation of procurement processes and ERP systems.

Requirements

46 years of experience in procurement, preferably in appliances, electronics, or consumer durables.

Strong knowledge of domestic sourcing and vendor management.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement analytics.

Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
