Your responsibilities
- You assess global product demand, manage call-offs, and place purchase orders accordingly.
- You support the Procurement Execution Lead in improving procurement processes and preparing analyses, reports, and KPIs.
- You are responsible for the inquiry process, including the clarification of technical, commercial, and contractual matters.
- You monitor production processes at suppliers and sub-suppliers.
- You are responsible for supplier communication and for handling contractual disruptions (e.g. overdue items, reminders, claim discussions, and missing documents or documentation).
- You ensure the timely delivery of materials by closely tracking purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders, and proactively resolving expediting issues.
- You manage framework agreements.
- You support the introduction of new processes and purchasing activities on a global level.
- You act proactively, serve as a key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders, and drive topics forward in a hands-on and solution-oriented manner.
Your profile
- You have completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or have a comparable qualification.
- You have 8+ years of professional experience in procurement, expediting, supply chain management, or a similar field.
- You can present complex issues in a clear and understandable way and work in a solution-oriented manner, even in challenging situations.
- You have an independent and results-oriented way of working, a strong analytical mindset, as well as strong negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and a high level of team orientation.
- You have very good written and spoken English skills.
- You have proven experience and a willingness to work in an international environment and with global teams.
- You have strong communication skills, work effectively across interfaces, and demonstrate a high level of ownership.
- You have solid knowledge of MS Office applications and practical experience working with ERP systems such as SAP MM, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement tools.
- You are willing to undertake occasional national and international business trips.
