Role Description

This is a full-time/Part -time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer located in Chennai. The Procurement Engineer will handle the end-to-end procurement process, including evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, managing RFQs, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The role also requires analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making and to ensure compliance with established procedures, standards, and contractual agreements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and managing Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
• Strong experience in creating and managing Purchase Orders while ensuring compliance
• Excellent Analytical Skills to support cost analysis, vendor selection, and process optimization
• Strong Communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of procurement practices and familiarity with industrial EPC, OEM, or Fabrication processes is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Indutrial/Manufacturing/Production Engg
• Experience Category : 3 to 5 years; 6 to 10 years; 10 to 12 Years; 12 + years
