Procurement / Expediting Engineer:

Location: Khed Shivapur

Education: Any BE

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement activities from PR release to material receipt and closure.
Maintain daily/weekly expediting trackers, PO status, overdue orders, supplier commitments and procurement MIS.
Experience 7-12yrs
Proactively monitor long-lead and critical items, escalate delays and drive recovery actions to meet project milestones.
Minimize emergency purchases, premium freight, procurement deviations, supplier rejection and rework.
Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Quality and suppliers on technical specifications, BOMs, inspection plans and corrective actions.
Review supplier quotations from technical and commercial perspectives and support cost optimization, alternate sourcing and value engineering.
Understand precision-machined components, including materials, machining processes, tolerances, inspection requirements, special processes and cost drivers.
Independently own assigned projects/commodities and deliver Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) targets.
Provide accurate procurement updates and highlight risks impacting project, production and customer delivery commitments.
