Your role in the Team

Join our newly formed Procurement Department! Strategic partnerships and vendors are an integral part of our ability to deliver quality service to our clients and deliver the IG strategy. Vendor Management & Procurement play a vital role in ensuring our vendors & contracts are managed as well as ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements in vendor management & outsourcing and establishing procurement and vendor management best practices

What You'll Do

  • Reporting Structure: Reports to the Head of Procurement and collaborates with:
    • Procurement Managers
    • SRM Manager
    • Vendor Management team
  • Primary Objective: Drive performance of the commercial function through:
    • Introduction of appropriate commercial and risk checks
    • Management of external provider contracts
    • Ensuring contract visibility
    • Reporting and planning activities
  • Role Contribution:
    • Act as a key contributor within the newly formed Procurement team
    • Confidently share ideas and challenge colleagues constructively
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Assist in increasing understanding of Procurement across the organization
    • Promote compliance and engagement with Procurement processes
What You'll Need For This Role

  • Someone who is collaborative, passionate and up for the challenge
  • A passion for Procurement
  • Experience in pulling together and managing data to assist planning, delivering and monitoring external commercial provider frameworks (preferably in a marketing environment)
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Understanding of commercial advice and guidance across a business unit or function
  • A global team player, energized by collaborating and leading across cultures and geographies to deliver innovative and engaging marketing strategies
  • The ability to develop and maintain positive ongoing relationships with external providers
  • Good knowledge of modern best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks
  • Clear ability to work collaboratively with cross functional team and vendor personnel to build relationships.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to socialize change and drive strategic vendor utilization.
