Role Summary
The Procurement Specialist (S&G) independently manages end-to-end procurement for a defined portfolio of S&G commodities such as Advisory Services, Product & Business Learning, HR/Executive Search, Market Research, Packaging, Office/Factory Supplies, PPE, Waste Management, Temporary Labor, etc.
This is a strategic and operational role, accountable for category performance, supplier management, negotiations, compliance, and execution of long-term commodity strategies. The role demands strong ownership, analytical skills, commercial acumen, and capability to work closely with Business, Finance, Legal, EHS, HR, and global procurement teams.
Key Responsibilitie
s1. E2E Commodity Ownershi
- pManage the full lifecycle of procurement for assigned S&G categories
- .Define annual saving opportunities, demand pooling, and category planning
- .Drive sourcing events (RFx, negotiations, supplier comparison, award recommendations)
- .Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with IM & Business priorities
- .Identify challenger suppliers, cost-down levers and innovation options

3. Supplier Management & Performa

- ntly.Maintain data accuracy for master data, catalogues, price lists, and material c
- odes.Prepare monthly KPIs, MIS decks, spend analysis, savings tracking, and supplier scorec
- ards.Identify digitalization opportunities to improve procurement effici
ency.
6. ESG, Sustainability & Comp

- ategy.Ensure compliance with DoA, SDD/QES, statutory regulations, and internal audit read
- iness.Support Waste Management, Packaging Sustainability, and circularity initiatives (where rele

Qualifi
- cationsGraduate (Engineering/Commerce/Supply Chain); MBA pre
- ferred.37 years of hands-on experience in indirect procurement / category mana
- gement.Mandatory: Strong SAP experience; exposure to Fieldglass is an adv
antage.
