Job Title: Procurement & SCM Trainee
Location: Chennai, Adyar
Salary: ₹12,000
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support procurement operations and customer handling activities. This role provides exposure to vendor sourcing, purchase management, and direct customer interaction. The intern will work closely with the procurement and sales/customer service teams to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers and vendors.
- Collect quotations and prepare price comparison sheets.
- Support purchase order creation and follow up for timely deliveries.
- Maintain vendor database and procurement records.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for delivery and shipment tracking.
Customer Handling
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Share quotations, order confirmations, and delivery updates with clients.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalating issues when required.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team.
