Procurement Systems Analyst Global Supply Chain Systems CoE (Procurement CoE)

What You Will Do

The procurement team at Johnson Controls serves the businesses as integral team members who use procurement tools and insights to minimize risk and drive innovation, agility and profitable growth. The Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) supports the procurement team with system implementation and support, process and program management. The Procurement CoE provides global support from multiple locations Monterrey, Milwaukee, Cork and Bangalore

Digital procurement is a growth area for the Johnson Controls Procurement Organization. We use Ariba P2P and Ariba Contract Management. To support our increased user base in Digital platforms we are recruiting procurement Systems Analyst based in Bangalore. This is a hybrid role typically 3 days in office

Responsibilities Include

Ariba P2P/P2O

  • Work with a diverse user base from purchase requisitioners to Procurement Leadership
  • User issue tracking and resolution
  • Ensure user queries are answered or forwarded to the appropriate parties.
  • Escalation of issues when required
  • Conduct regular system checks e.g. inactive users, underused/ unused catalogs
  • Participate in initiatives to reduce tickets e.g. analysis of high-volume root causes and implementing tools/documents to reduce or eliminate

Ariba Contracts

  • Work with Ariba CLM team on CLM Process
  • Ensure quality checks conducted in the contracts before approving
  • End-to-end understanding of the process
  • Detailed understanding of Ariba Contracts and data element

How You Will Do It

  • Exhibit Excellent Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks (tickets, reporting, project work)
  • Use your knowledge of Procurement process to guide users when creating purchase requisitions and processing other Ariba documents
  • Demonstrate your ability to understand situation and organization and prioritize accordingly
  • Desire to continually improve
  • Feel comfortable working at various levels within the organization and across geographies

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Understanding of Procurement processes

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Ariba application or other similar P2P applications (GEP, Coupla, EG)
  • Experience with Service Now or other ticketing tools
