Position Summary

The Process Specialist - IC Accounting serves as a subject matter expert for assigned entities, regions, or processes. The role supports operational excellence, process governance, risk and control compliance, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, transformation initiatives, and team capability development.

Key Responsibilities Process Ownership and Technical Expertise

• Function as subject matter expert for assigned Intercompany processes, entities, or regions.
• Review critical reconciliations, high-risk accounts, accounting conclusions, and Monitor Intercompany billing, posting, allocation and other transactions.
• Demonstrate ownership identifying potential issues, conducting root cause analysis, and driving timely resolution to prevent operational disruptions and process failures.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex accounting and operational issues.
• Perform detailed reconciliation of intercompany AR, AP, GRIR and balance sheet accounts.
• Support accurate and timely completion of period-end close deliverables and key controls.
• Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and document the existing processes.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

• Monitor process performance, risks, control adherence, KPIs, and service levels.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and maintain audit readiness.
• Support risk assessments, control reviews, and remediation of identified gaps.

Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate operational reviews and governance calls.
• Manage stakeholder escalations and coordinate cross-functional issue resolution.
• Communicate risks, decisions, dependencies, and action plans clearly.

Transformation and Capability Development

• Drive automation initiatives using SAP, EDI, RPA, ServiceNow, and digital tools.
• Support transitions, migrations, system implementations, and future-state process design.
• Coach and mentor team members and conduct structured process training.
• Maintain process documentation, control matrices, and knowledge repositories.

Education and Experience Education

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Experience and Technical Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Intercompany or R2R Accounting.
• Strong experience in a shared services or global finance environment.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, reconciliations, financial reporting support, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and stakeholder governance.
