Job responsibilities:
- Running of plant as per feeding targets provided by Shift Engineer.
- Continuous monitoring all plant parameters and report to shift engineer if any abnormalities.
- Observations and any deviation shall be reported to shift engineer /O&M manager.
- Filling and maintaining the line break down details, log books, checklist of respective area.
- Monitoring of operations in section allocated and reports the status regularly.
- Allotment of maintenance work to maintenance team and ensure all equipment is in running condition.
- Monitoring of utilities and addition of chemicals by issue from store timely and maintain proper records.
- Initiate work permits to maintenance and vendors working in the respective area.
- Handling and allotment of manpower on regular basis and highlight any issues immediately to respective shift in charge / labour officer .
- Maintaining of proper housekeeping on regular basis with available resources.
- Safety of all workmen under him shall ensure any unsafe acts and conditions to be reported real-time basis.
- All non routine works shall be covered under permit system and LOTO procedures should be strictly followed.
- Closure of safety observations immediately within prescribed time.
- Follow all safety precautions and guidelines issued timely and also ensure safety of workers working under his supervision.
- Reporting of all incidents ,near miss accidents ,unsafe conditions timely.
- Usage of PPE required for work based on the work hazards
