Job Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Process Mining Analyst will work alongside the Continuous Improvement Lead to analyze business processes using task and process mining tools. This individual should be familiar with leveraging task/process mining tools to synthesize and transform mining data into insights for optimization and automation opportunities. The Process Mining Analyst will be contributing to the Process Optimization group within the Digital Transformation unit and will require coordination with business analysts, subject matter experts within Crowe's business units, and other stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply process mining and task mining techniques to analyze and evaluate existing processes and identify areas for optimization.
- Recognize process variations, bottlenecks, and redundancies and that can be reengineered to improve process standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather process data, perform analysis, and map process flows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize data-driven insights and statistical analysis to measure process performance, identify root causes of process issues, and develop action plans for improvement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish performance targets to drive process excellence.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote process improvement methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in process improvement and process/task mining.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of experience in using process mining and task mining tools, such as Microsoft Process Mining, Minit, Celonis, Apromore, etc.
- 1+ years of experience with documenting process improvements and business process mapping
- Excellent data analysis and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Proficient in MS Power Platform, MS Process Mining, Minit, Celonis, Apromore, Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Understanding of process design documents and technical design documents
- Ability to build rapport, cultivate working relationships and drive collaboration across teams
- Must be an adaptable initiative-taker and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively
- Go beyond the requirements of the job and strive to exceed expectations
- Ability to work well with business unit SME's, Business Analysts, vendors, and end users in cross functional teams with experience in systems development life cycle and structured programming methods (both traditional and agile.
- Established record of meeting and/or exceeding established business, project and performance goals on development projects and driving them to success within established timelines and budgets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, IT, MIS, or a related field.
- Proven experience 1+ years in process improvement and process/task mining.
- Ability to work independently, or in groups, with effective communication skills and to be flexible, agile, and able to manage within ambiguity as necessary with excellent organizational/project management and analytical skills
