About The Team
The FP&A team is a community of dedicated professionals play crucial roles by performing budgeting, forecasting and analysis that support major corporate decision of the organization. FP&A professionals oversee a broad array of financial affairs, including Balance sheet, Income statement and financial statements.
Impact
The FP&A team's primary focus is to provide insights and strategic guidance by analyzing financial data, projecting future performance, and helping to optimize the allocation of resources. Understand the implications of financial ratios and metrics on business performance.
Key Deliverables
Summary/Primary Objective
The primary function of this role is to support FP&A team to manage and improve forecasting, reporting, and analytics. The team member will primarily be responsible for supporting the corporate forecast, funds transfer pricing (FTP) process, Profitability and Capital Allocations.
This role is expected to work simultaneously on multiple projects / deliverables, gathers, examine, and analyze data using analytical tools, apply statistical knowledge, business, judgement and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions in line with business & senior management expectations both in terms of quality and agreed timelines.
Essential Functions
- Design, build, and continually improve forecasts, reports, and analytics.
- Analyze, interpret, and present financial data to support good business decisions and improve performance.
- Extensive tactical data analysis and model development for bank's engagements using a variety of programming languages.
- Working on multiple projects across various banking products and applying predictive analytics in building scorecards and forecasting models
Serving as subject matter expert on financial and statistical data model development and implementation
Education And Certifications
- Post-Graduation in computer sciences and physics.
- Mathematics or Statistics / BTech / MTech.
- Research and white papers on the subject matter is welcome.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
- Ability to be flexible with job duties, shift timings (3:30 pm to 12:30 am IST) and scope of work.
- Capability to work independently without hand holding and exercising sound judgment & initiative.
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving skills.
- Working with data and database systems (SQL, MDX).
- Practical programming (VB, VBA, Python, C#, Java, etc.).
