Job Description
As the Process Manager, you will oversee and guide a team of Machine Learning Research Analysts, ensuring the successful execution of ML projects. Your role is pivotal in driving innovation and staying at the forefront of AI & ML advancements. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to define research objectives and project scope.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Machine Learning Research Analysts, providing guidance and support.
- Drive innovation by exploring new techniques and solutions for complex business problems.
- Stay updated with the latest AI & ML advancements and promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives and project scope.
- Present research findings and propose innovative solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team and across departments.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all research and development activities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging open communication and idea sharing.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the field of research on machine learning or a related field.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Proven track record of conducting ML research, with publications or contributions to the ML community.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in ML algorithms, including deep learning and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with knowledge of ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques for ML applications.
- Experience working with large datasets and data preprocessing for ML model training and testing.
- Familiarity with big data processing tools and distributed computing frameworks is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- A creative and analytical mindset, with a passion for problem-solving and a drive for continuous improvement.
