Job Description
Job Summary –
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to support our software development teams in delivering high-quality products using Agile methodologies. . The Scrum Master will work closely with QA, development, and product teams to ensure smooth sprint execution, Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring continuous improvement across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Must have:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Guide and coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and values
- Remove obstacles or impediments that impact the team's progress
- Work closely with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams
- Track and report project progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Promote self-organization and accountability within the team
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Help teams adopt Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Scrum certification preferred (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.)
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello)
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to work with distributed and cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Technical background or prior development experience (desired but not mandatory)
