Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Process Integration Engineer to support the development, integration, qualification, and continuous improvement of advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes within a greenfield wafer fabrication facility. The role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional process development activities, optimizing technology integration, driving yield improvement initiatives, and ensuring stable high-volume manufacturing.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise across semiconductor front-end manufacturing processes and demonstrate experience in technology transfer, process optimization, defect reduction, and production ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive integration of front-end semiconductor manufacturing processes across the complete wafer fabrication flow.
  • Coordinate lithography, diffusion, implant, etch, CMP, thin film, wet process, and metrology teams to achieve stable process integration.
  • Develop and optimize process integration strategies for new technology nodes.
  • Lead technology transfer activities from development to manufacturing.
  • Analyze process interactions impacting electrical performance and device characteristics.
  • Drive yield improvement programs through systematic defect analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Collaborate with Process, Equipment, Device Engineering, Yield Engineering, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations teams.
  • Review inline process data, electrical test data, SPC trends, and excursion reports.
  • Develop process windows and establish manufacturing specifications.
  • Support qualification of new equipment, materials, and process changes.
  • Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) for process optimization.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to monitor process stability.
  • Support Failure Analysis teams in identifying process-related yield losses.
  • Define corrective and preventive actions for process deviations.
  • Prepare technical reports and present process performance to engineering leadership.
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and technology ramp activities.
  • Ensure compliance with semiconductor quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time, yield, productivity, and cost reduction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Semiconductor Engineering.
  • 8 15 years of semiconductor wafer fabrication experience.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor front-end manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting technology transfer and process qualification.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
