Job Description

  • For all the Heat and Mass transfer calculations
  • Stoichiometric calculations
  • To prepare P&ID ,PFD for the manufacturing process
  • Debottlenecking of process equipments
  • Troubleshooting
  • Effective Utilisation of equipments to increase the productivity
  • To train the subordinates w.r.t documentation and Heat/Mass transfer operations
  • Timely reporting to the head of department
  • To verify the Change control ,other relevant PE documents
  • Transformation of Tech pack/Tech transfer procedure to PD Lab and implementation in plant with suitable equipments
  • To know the unit process associated with Tech pack
  • To follow the safety as per HSE company's policy
  • To Know and Prepare the HAZOP study with evaluation of Reaction calorimetry and thermal screening units
  • To upkeep all the documents required for regulatory and non regulatory audits

RESPONSIBILITIES

Management

Leadership and Commitment

  • To achieve the targets of new products implementation in the desired schedule
  • To procure or help for the new suggested equipments
  • To coordinate with projects,Engg,PD lab,Instrumentation and production for smooth functioning
  • To ensure the Process and cleaning validation of the process and equipments are performed.
  • To find out deviations and their investigation reports are prepared
  • Performance review of plant personnel's
  • Sanctioning of leave.
  • To instruct Preparation of documents and checking newly prepared document
  • Revision of documents as per necessity with the help of QA
  • Preparation of daily report.
  • Ensures all production activity are performed as per SOPs.
  • Ensure monthly,quarterly and yearly performance reports are prepared
  • Ensure & Co-ordination with all associated departments

RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Communication

  • To ensure that safety compliance is followed as per HAZOP recommendation
  • To participate in conducting internal audits.
  • To communicates to Quality control for inprocess testing & results
  • To communicate with stores for general material & raw material requirement

Training

  • To conduct training to all subordinates s involved in department on various aspects of quality, manufacturing activity, safety.
  • To find out training need to subordinate and conduct the training

Risk Management

Process Safety

  • To ensure that PSSR done after any modification and before starting any new
  • To ensure that risk assessment done after any modification and before starting any new product.
  • To ensure available adequate PPE to all the subordinates
  • To know the reaction Hazards and HAZOP completion with all the recommendations are implemented

Product Stewardship

  • To ensure that the material Charging / unloading & process parameters followed as per written procedure in Teck pack

Environment

  • To ensure all ventilation & AHU running condition within the specified range limit.

Deviation Control

Accident Investigation and Reporting

  • To report all near-miss, minor , major injuries, incident, chemical spillages as per reporting procedure in prescribed format.

Inspections

  • Conduct task behavior observations weekly

  • Ensure the ability of the manpower is strengthened to cope up with the requirement
  • Ensure all the dept staff are performing as per Job responsibility defined and timely updation in case of any amendment
