Process Engineer

Role Overview: -

Drive Process Optimization, Safety, efficiency improvement , Analysis of the existing process, identify the areas of improvement and implement solutions at Chemical and Pharma manufacturing facility. Role ensuring high-quality production, operational excellence, and compliance with global standards.

Industry Knowledge:- Understanding of Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, Heat & Mass transfer and chemical reactions.

Qualification – BE / BTech Chemical

Experience – 7 to 10 years

Key Responsibilities: -

Ø Process Engineering and Documentation

Ø Development and maintain process documentation

Ø Material and energy balance

Ø Process flow diagram and piping and instrumentation diagram

Ø Equipment layout and list

A. Process Optimization

> Analyze and improve existing processes

> Increase Efficiency

> Reduce energy consumption

> Minimize waste

Thus, improving the OEE of the equipment.

B. Troubleshooting and Technical Support

Resolve Process-related issues impacting

1. Quality

2. Cost

3. Throughput

C. Safety

1. Process Safety and risk Management Conduct and Support:

a. HAZOP Studies

b. PSSR

Ensure Compliance with Process Safety Standard

D. Data Analysis and Process Control:

Analyze plant, Process data- Cycle time, batch size, energy usage.

Implement Control Strategies for optimized operation

E. Project Management-Handle plant modification: - Timelines, Budget, Execution.

F. Cross-functional collaboration work with: - Process development, Production , Quality & Maintenance

G. Audit and Compliance Support and participate in Customer audit.

H. Desired Skill: Strong fundamentals -Fluid dynamics, Heat transfer, Mixing & Distillation, Hydraulic Calculation, Solid Handling Calculation.
