Job Description

Role Overview

Perform process design and engineering activities for upstream oil & gas facilities.
Support operations and EPC teams in optimizing production processes, troubleshooting, and process simulations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety practices, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Heat & Material Balances (HMB).
Participate in process simulations and studies for upstream oil & gas facilities.
Support oil & gas production operations with process optimization and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in EPC environments.
Ensure adherence to applicable industry codes, standards, and safety practices.
Assist EPC teams in process design and engineering deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years experience in upstream oil & gas production as a Process Engineer or Operations/Plant Operator.
Hands-on experience in process simulation and design using Aspen HYSYS and ProSim.
Good understanding of upstream oil & gas production systems and processes.
Prior experience with upstream companies such as ONGC, OIL, Cairn, GAIL, Essar, Reliance (RIL) preferred.
EPC experience supporting process design and engineering in organizations like LTTS, TOYO, EIL, Technimont, etc., is an advantage.
