About the Role:
Department: Process Engineering - Upstream & Downstream - Biosimilars Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle upstream and downstream process operations efficiently.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot process performance to ensure quality and productivity.
- Support process development, scale-up, and technology transfer activities.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety guidelines.
- Analyze process data and prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Production, QA, QC, and Maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Assist in validation, qualification, and audit activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of bioprocess/chemical process engineering.
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Upstream processes (fermentation, cell culture, etc.)
- Downstream processes (filtration, purification, chromatography, etc.)
- Knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology / Bioprocess Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 2–7 Years
