Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support mass balance models used for monthly financial reconciliation and Oil Loss.
  • Develop mass balance unit models by collecting unit's flowmeters and operating data from refinery and petrochemical units.
  • Analyze key process inputs including pressure, temperature, flow, composition, for Movements and tank inventory.
  • Work closely with process, IT and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy for monthly reporting.
  • Providing training and maintain the mass balance documentation for a unit and user guides.
  • Participate in meetings and provide support to clients

Work Experience

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of refinery and petrochemical unit operations.
  • Working knowledge of process parameters such as pressure, temperature, and composition etc.
  • Basic understanding of Process flow diagrams, mass, and material balances on process unit.
  • Familiarity with mass balance and Inventory Management applications like PAR, SAP Movements and inventory would be helpful.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to handle and analyze large datasets.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong data discipline.
  • Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision while delivering high-quality output.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in any manufacturing facility (Continuous process) - Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Fertilizers/ Chemicals background is preferred.
