Job Description

Job Description

  1. Ensure manufacturing process compliance with legal & safety requirements, engineering principles, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications.

  2. Expertise in Pick & Place programming, NC data generation, DGS/SIPLACE software, machine setup, and troubleshooting

  3. NPI & Engineering Changes: Implement new products and engineering changes through layout updates, supplier changes, depopulation activities, and placement/polarity validation.

  4. Optimize product allocation across SMT lines based on technical feasibility and customer requirements.

  5. Machine & MES Integration: Ensure machine integration with MES for seamless production control and full traceability.

  6. Problem Solving: Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, and RCCA.

  7. Cross-Plant Collaboration: Drive knowledge sharing and best-practice exchange with global Bosch entities as a CN representative

  8. Drive ESD compliance through regular audits, measurements, report reviews, and corrective action implementation across manufacturing operations

  9. Establish ESD standards for machines, materials, and fixtures while training teams on ESD controls, measurement methods, and best practi

  10. Responsible to convert the available data into usable data and visualize the data to define the actions

Qualifications

  • B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Mechatronics
  • 3 to 5years of experience in Automotive electronics manufacturing industry

  • Pick & Place Process & Programming Expertise,ESD Knowledge
  • Knowledge of SMT components, package characteristics, placement requirements, and feeder/nozzle selection.
  • MES & Manufacturing Process Understanding

  • IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 awareness (process control)
