We are seeking driven and analytically minded Process Engineer to join our team and contribute to the process design, simulation, and optimization of high-purity systems for the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process design packages for ultra-high purity utility systems.
- Support process simulation and modelling using tools such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, or equivalent software to evaluate system performance.
- Perform basic process calculations including mass and energy balances, heat transfer, fluid flow, and equipment sizing under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documents including process design basis, equipment datasheets, process descriptions, and operating manuals.
- Support the evaluation and selection of process equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, filters, and purification systems.
- Help ensure all process designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations (e.g., SEMI, AD2000, PED, ATEX) and adhere to safety and cleanroom protocols.
- Collaborate with design, project, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless translation of process requirements into detailed engineering deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process data, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing optimization solutions
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in process design or simulation.
- Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, or CHEMCAD
- Basic understanding of process engineering fundamentals: mass/energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
- Knowledge of industry standards for ultra-high purity process utilities is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Team-oriented and collaborative; strong listening skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.
