Job Description
Camarine is currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a major offshore energy project based in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform process engineering design and technical activities in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
- Develop and review process engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, process calculations, equipment datasheets and technical documents.
- Conduct process simulations, hydraulic calculations, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing as required.
- Review and provide technical input on process equipment and package specifications.
- Coordinate closely with Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical and other engineering disciplines.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and other technical/safety studies.
- Review engineering drawings, vendor documents and technical submissions.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, construction, commissioning and project execution.
- Identify and resolve process-related technical issues and interface requirements.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications and HSE requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders as required.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, calculations, specifications and other project documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant process engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, FPSO/FSO, LNG or related energy projects.
- Strong experience in process design and engineering deliverables for major offshore or floating projects.
- Good knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment sizing and process simulations.
- Experience with HAZOP/HAZID, process safety and technical design reviews.
- Familiarity with relevant international engineering codes and standards.
- Candidates with FPSO/FSO or other floating production project experience are highly preferred.
