Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer - Accounts Payable - Payments
Responsibilities:
.Invoice Processing: Accurately review and process invoices related to insurance accounts payable, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
.Payment Execution: Manage the preparation and execution of payment batches, including checks, automated clearing house (ACH), and wire transfers, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
.Vendor Communication: Maintain effective communication with vendors to resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth transactions.
.Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable records with vendor statements to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
.Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls related to accounts payable payments, implementing best practices to enhance compliance.
.Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on payment status and accounts payable metrics, providing insights for management decision-making.
.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and enhancements in the payment process, driving initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
.Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
.Relevant years of experience in managing AP- payments
.Experience in working with SAP and AP / Payroll tools would be added advantage
.Experience in working with an insurance client will be an added advantage
Preferred Skill Set:
.Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
.Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
.Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
.Strong time management skills
.Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
