About Us:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Coordinator to join our team and help drive operational excellence across our logistics processes.
Position Summary:
As a Process Coordinator, you will play a key role in optimizing, monitoring, and improving operational processes within the logistics department. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. You will work closely with various teams including logistics, supply chain, and operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze logistics workflows and processes to identify areas of improvement. Suggest process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordination & Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between different departments, including warehousing, transportation, and customer service, to ensure that logistics operations are executed efficiently.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of logistics processes and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, transportation costs, and order fulfillment rates.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to transportation, safety, and quality standards. Ensure that all logistical processes adhere to established company standards.
- Troubleshooting: Address any issues or discrepancies in the logistics chain, including delays, shortages, and errors in shipments. Work with teams to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Training & Development: Assist in training new employees on logistics processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Provide ongoing support to team members to enhance performance and adherence to best practices.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to monitor and track logistics performance. Provide actionable insights based on data to improve operational processes and outcomes.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors, suppliers, and transporters to ensure the timely delivery of goods. Monitor service levels to ensure optimal performance from external partners.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with logistics software (TMS, WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Certifications (Preferred): Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or project management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, or PMP).
